  • Jon Favreau was auditioned for the part of Chandler. Later he appeared as the computer genius Pete Becker who dated Monica.
  • 2 days before shooting the Pilot episode, Craig Bierko gave up the role of Chander and Matthew Perry replaced him immediately.
  • Leah Remini was auditioned for the part of Monica.
  • David Scwimmer was the first cast member who was approved.
  • Matthew Perry is the youngest member of Friends. Lisa Kudrow is the oldest.
  • Courteney Cox was the original choice for Rachel but later the cast decided she was more suitable to play Monica.
