Trivia and Quotes Quotes Second Policeman: When they start recitin` the Constitution, watch out! Mary Jones: You... Benedict Arnold in sheep`s clothing! Trivia Jean Arthur planned to remake the picture with her as the devil and the title "The Devil and Mr. Jones," but that project never materialized. This film is being preserved by the UCLA Film & Television Archive with funding from the AFI/NEA Preservation Grants. George Watts was in studio records/casting call lists as "Watchman," but he was not seen in the movie.
