He is best and widely known as John Kramer, a.k.a. Jigsaw/Billy the Puppet in the Saw film franchise. He also appeared opposite Gene Hackman in the 1989 film Mississippi Burning-a film about three civil rights workers who were murdered in 1963. Bell has signed a contract to portray Jigsaw in 5 Saw movie sequels and will be seen in Saw VI.
