Short Biography

Tanya Haden (born New York City, October 11, 1971) is an American artist, animator, cellist and singer. Haden married actor Jack Black in March 2006. She is the triplet sister of bassist Rachel Haden (of the band The Rentals; sang lead vocals on a Weezer song: the only song not to feature Rivers Cuomo as lead vocalist) and violinist Petra Haden (of the band That Dog). She has contributed to and/or performed with L.A. musicians Paul Avion and the Silversun Pickups. She is also daughter of the jazz double bassist Charlie Haden (famous for his career with Ornette Coleman).
