Short Biography

Simon John Beckingham was born in Gloucester Feb 14th 1970. His father was a musician/keyboard salesman. Parents divorced when he was seven. His first love was music and he was actually a member or a band called God`s Third Leg at 16 he was the drummer. He began acting in 1993 when he moved to London and gigged as a stand up comedian before breaking into television with the comedy Asylum.

Simon Pegg for those of you who haven`t heard has been chosen to play Scotty in the newest addition to the Star Trek films. Filming is to begin in November and they have slotted it for release in December of 2008.
