Short Biography

Failing to become the painter he wanted, Serge starts writing music and poetry. Considered as the new Cole Porter at the beginning of his career, he writes a lot for others as well as for himself and his muses (Juliette Gréco, France Gall, Pétula Clark, Françoise Hardy, Brigitte Bardot, Isabelle Adjani, Dalida, Marianne Faithfull, Vanessa Paradis, Jane Birkin, Charlotte Gainsbourg etc).
He is the most respected french songwriter and also a talented filmmaker.
He has four children (Paul, Natacha, Charlotte & Lucien) and helped raised Jane Birkin`s two daughters (Kate & Lou).
