Mike Met his best friend and now leader singer of the band Green Day Billie Joe,when they were both 10 years old. Mike was the only one of Billie Joe`s friends to meet His father before he passed away of lung cancer in 1982. The two started a band when they were about 14 years old. Mike The bass player and Billiejoe the Guitarist.John became the drummer and they became Sweet Children. Writtignand Performing theire own songs. JJohn Left the band to go to college and right away Tre` Cool Became part of the band. All three are best friends.
Mike Married the mother of his first child Estelle.
He can play multiple instruments and sometimes sings.
