Though Davis was born in Essex, Mark and his family moved to Toronto, Canada in 1981. After graduating from high school, he moved to Los Angeles to shoot a Playgirl pictorial. From 1984 to 1988, Davis was employed as a stripper for the "Chippendale" dancers.
