Jerry Ferrara (b. November 25, 1979, Brooklyn, New York) is an American actor. He attended New Utrecht High School in the New Utrecht neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. Ferrara is best known for his work as Sal aka "Turtle" on the HBO comedy series Entourage, which revolves around a rich, young actor and his close circle of friends. In an interview about his breakout role on the show, Ferrara revealed that when he told his friends he had landed a major part in a television pilot, they asked, "What`s a pilot?" Kevin Connolly has said of his Entourage co-star that "Jerry’s very domesticated. He’s probably the most different from his character. He’s like 180 degrees in the opposite direction." Ferrara once made an appearance in character as Turtle for a DirecTV commercial. His dialog was mixed with a clip from an Entourage episode for humorous effect. He is currently dating actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler of The Sopranos fame. They met while she was making a cameo appearance on Entourage as herself in a relationship with Ferrara`s character.
