Ingrid starred in classic films with the top actors of her day Gary Cooper, Cary Grant, Charles Boyer, Humphrey Bogart,Gregory Peck, Yul Brynner, Albert Finney, Claude Rains,Paul Henried and Spencer Tracy. Was fluent in english, german, french, and italian. Ingrid was very close friends with Jennifer Jones. Ingrid`s love affair with Robert Capa was the inspiration behind Alfred Hitchcock`s "Rear Window(1954)." Industrialist Howard Hughes once bought every available seat from New York to Los Angeles to be sure she would accept a ride in his private plane. Was discovered by David O. Selznick.
