Heidi Hudson Leick is an American actress, best known for her role as Callisto in the popular TV series Xena: Warrior Princess.

Heidi Hudson Leick was born on May 9, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she lived for a short period of time before moving to Rochester, New York. She later attended the Neighborhood Playhouse Acting School in New York City.

Hudson Leick started her career as a model in Japan, but decided to concentrate on acting. She took courses in drama and diction to improve her voice. In 1992 she appeared in one episode of the series CBS Schoolbreak Special. The following year, Leick appeared in an episode of Law & Order. She also played small roles in University Hospital as Tracy Stone and Knight Rider 2010.

Hudson Leick`s big break came in 1995 when she won a part on Melrose Place. Leick appeared in ten episodes of the series. After a couple of small roles in Hijacked: Flight 285 and Dangerous Cargo, the director Robert Tapert selected Leick for the role of Callisto on Xena: Warrior Princess. Leick also portrayed Callisto on three episodes of Xena companion TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and&; she also portrayed screenwriter Liz Friedmann in two Hercules episodes.

In 2000 Hudson Leick announced at a convention that she would not be in any more episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess or Hercules: The Legendary Journeys because she got more roles to play and needed to portray another character besides Callisto.

Hudson Leick also appeared in Blood Type, 7th Heaven, Denial, Touched by an Angel, After the Game and Safe Harbor. She performed in A.I. Assault, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Lords of Everquest, Tru Calling (in its pilot episode), Primal, Fastlane and Cold Heart.

Recently, Leick finished recording One, Two, Many and began to work on Hallowed Ground.

Leick has a long term interest in yoga, she is qualified to teach yoga professionally in the USA, and holds certificates in Kundalini, Hatha and Vipassana meditation she teaches classes in Santa Monica.
