Short BiographyGina Ravera (born May 20, 1966) is an American actress known for her role in the film Soul Food, in which she played the role of the wild and seductive Faith, a distant cousin. Ravera was born Gina D. Ravarra in San Francisco, California, to a Puerto Rican father and African American mother.She appeared in the film The Great Debaters, about the first African-American college debate team to be nationally successful and the man who created it. The film was produced by Oprah Winfrey and starred Denzel Washington as Mel Tolson, the man who eventually inspired his debate team to victory.
