Robert Charles Edner (born October 5, 1988 in Downey, California) is an American actor and singer; he is currently a member of the Boy band Varsity Fanclub. Bobby Edner was born as Robert Charles Edner (his nicknames are "Bud" or "Bubba"). He is the son of Bob and Cindy Edner. He is the older brother of actress Ashley Edner. Edner is a former member of the Hollywood Knights celebrity basketball team and a current member of the NBA Entertainment League (NBAE), assigned to the Bulls roster. When Edner joined the NBAE at 19, he was the youngest player in the league. In addition to playing basketball, Edner is also an avid golfer. Edner enjoys spending time with his family and close friends, and he maintained a 4.0 academic average while in high school. Edner`s feature film debut was in 1999`s The Muse (film), working opposite Sharon Stone and Albert Brooks. In both 2000 and 2001, Edner received Young Artist Award nominations for Best Performance in a Television Movie (these were for Edner`s compelling performance as Charlie Burden, Jr. in 2000`s The Trial Of Old Drum, and his portrayal of an exceptional boy with supernatural powers in the 2001 HBO/Stan Winston remake of the Creature Feature (WTOG) TV series, The Day the World Ended). Edner has had over 30 guest starring roles on television programs, playing a broad range of diverse characters on shows such as Birds of Prey, ER, 7th Heaven, Charmed, Veronica Mars, Judging Amy, JAG, Touched By An Angel, and Philly.

Currently, Edner is singing, dancing, and writing songs as part of the American boyband Varsity Fanclub with bandmates David Lei Brandt, Thomas Fiss, Jayk Purdy, and Drew Ryan Scott.
