William Simons Biography
William Simons is a Welsh actor, born in Swansea on November 17th, 1940.
He is best known for his role as Yorkshireman PC Alf Ventress in Heartbeat, a part he has played for over a decade.
Other roles included parts in Coronation Street, Crown Court, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, The Sweeney, Cribb, Minder, Dempsey and Makepeace, and the 1978 Doctor Who story The Sun Makers. His wife died in 2002.
