Vanessa Dorman (born February 27th, 1969) is an American actress most notable recognized from her role as the first Caitlin Richards Deschanel in Aaron Spelling`s soap opera Sunset Beach. She portrayed the role from January 9th, 1997 to June 18th, 1998, when she hit contract problems and was let go. As of June 24th, 1998, she was replaced by Kam Heskin, who portrayed the role until the end of the show, December 31st, 1999. Dorman was born in Los Angeles, California.
