Trivia
Barrett was taking ballet classes as soon as she could walk. She spent 8 years at London`s Arts Educational School. She is 5`6" in height. Her first job was dancing in a panto with Lionel Blair. She joined S Club 7 aged 22, and was the oldest member of the group.
Notably, on the S Club 7 Album Sunshine, Barrett had led the uptempo club track, Stronger which was due to be released as the band`s 10th single. However, due to the departure of band member Paul Cattermole, the single was pulled. In 2003, she landed a $400,000 contract with Wrigley`s chewing gum. In 2004 she recorded a single "Da Ya Think I`m Sexy?" along with fellow singers Natasha Bedingfield and Liz McClarnon.
Barrett is recording a debut solo album, which is slated for release in 2010.
