Stephanie Biddle, was born and raised in Montreal Canada to one of the city’s most illustrious jazz families. Her father, the renowned bassist and jazz club legend, Charlie Biddle, along with Oscar Peterson were part of the fabric of Montreal’s jazz scene that eventually inspired the creation of one of the world’s top jazz festivals, namely The Montreal International Jazz Festival.
Stephanie’s initial foray in the entertainment business was via modeling and acting as her sultry looks caught the attention of prominent agencies. This led to engagements on the European and North American “catwalks”, fashion magazines for top designers and corporations, along with some 30 significant film roles and television appearances. Stephanie has worked with notable actors such as Samuel Jackson, Bruce Willis, Matthew Perry, Catherine Deneuve, Armand Assante, Chazz Palminteri, Vanessa Williams, Christopher Reeves, Morgan Freeman, and Christopher Lambert, to name a few.
However her real passion and unique talent resound in her mesmerizing jazz vocals and appreciation of the art itself. Stephanie’s jazz sophistication and experience is expressed by her remarkable unique vocal sound and timbre, and one cannot forget her stage presence and distinctive model “looks”. Her international bilingual performances have ranged from starring as the lead female role of the Opera of Normandy’s “La Haut” in Rouen, France, to being featured in the Movies and soundtracks of Hollywood film productions like “The Whole Nine Yards” alongside Bruce Willis, and “VH1’s Diva’s Christmas Carol” where she performs with Vanessa Williams. Stephanie did a phenomenal job performing in the recently released film directed by "Crash” producer Bobby Moresko and starring Armand Assante entitled “One Eyed King”.
Her performances at various Jazz venues and Festivals throughout North America (Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Montreal and Toronto), and the world… (Paris, Antigua, Cancun, Guadeloupe, Cuba, the Bahamas, Japan, Brazil, China and Africa have brought many degrees of international recognition. She has also just recently hosted a popular television entertainment series entitled “Cool Concerts- on Cool Jazz Network” and “Jazz Clubs of New York City "
