Scott Maslen Biography
He was brought up in Woolwich and joined the Royal Marines at the age of 16. Maslen sustained an injury whilst in the Marines, resulting in him having to leave. He is also a supporter of the West Ham United Football Club and can be seen interviewed on the 05/06 Season Review DVD. Maslen is a vegetarian; he discussed this on a recent appearance on The Paul O`Grady Show.

Scott has a seven-year-old son named Zak (born 25 January 2001) with his partner Estelle Harris.

He is best friends with his EastEnders co-star Samantha Janus and her husband Mark Womak. He is also godfather to their two children, Lily-Rose and Benjamen. Benjamen is also best friends with Scott`s son Zak.
