Sarah Jayne Dunn (born September 25th, 1981) is an English actress best known for playing Mandy Richardson in Hollyoaks.

Sarah was born in Leigh, Greater Manchester and educated at Lowton High School, excelling in drama and performing arts, and a part time career as a model. When the school changed its name and became a college for sport, Sarah returned to formally open the college with the then headteacher, Mrs. Susan Crosdale.

Sarah first appeared on the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks on September 12th, 1996, walking into the video shop in the forty-third episode. Mandy came into the village at the tender age of 14 as a "wannabe supermodel" and quickly formed a friendship with Ollie Benson.
Sarah stayed on Hollyoaks for decade leaving in 2006.
Sarah has returned to Hollyoaks twice.
In February 2007 for a two episode stint for the funeral of Mandy`s best friend, Becca Dean (Ali Bastian). Also June 2008 for six months leaving in December after the disastrous wedding of Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) and Louise Summers (Roxanna McKee).

Sarah has played other roles in BBC One series The Innocence Project and Doctors. She also appeared in an episode of Drop Dead Gorgeous for BBC Three and an episode of It`s Adam and Shelley also for BBC Three.
She has also appeared in an episode of Big Brother`s Little Brother.

In 2003 Sarah played a supporting role in the Brookside DVD Unfinished Business.

In 2004 Sarah appeared in the fitness DVD Hollyoaks Dance workout with Ali Bastian (Becca Dean) and Jodi Albert (Debbie Dean).

In September 2007, it was announced that, along with her former Hollyoaks colleague Helen Noble and theatre actor Graham Tudor she would be teaching students at a new acting school in Liverpool.

In 2007 Sarah had lead roles in the Short Films Northern Cowboy and Betting In Bars.
Sarah had a brief role in the 2008 film, The Dark Knight.
In 2009 Sarah is due to play Nadine McKnight in the Northern Ireland based Crime film The Best Years co-starring Billy Boyd, Colin Salmon and Martin Kemp. Also she will be playing Daisy Scarlett in the British based Spy film Vauxhall Crossed co-starring Dannii Minogue and Hugo Speer.

Sarah played Gloria in the UK regional tour of the comedy play Boeing, Boeing. This tour started at The Liverpool Playhouse on December 18th, 2008 and finished at the Birmingham Rep on April 25th, 2009.
Sarah will be appearing on tour in The Vagina Monologues which started on the 7th Spetember at The Churchill Theatre, Bromley and ends on the 8th December at The Jersey Opera House.
