 I want my life and music to mean more to me and more to other people than just being a footnote in a growing rock `n` roll text book. If I can contribute in any way, I don`t even question it. It`s a human response to a human problem. There`s no real intellectual reasoning behind it at all. Our buildings are all safe. The changes are nothing big at all. The report reflects well on the maintenance staff. Not that our shows weren`t bad, but there were instances that were very subtle and contained really clever writing that is not on TV, especially in kids` TV, today, ... Not that our shows were genius, but they were fun to watch. Neither I nor David would have gone to this extent if we didn`t have a sense that we were compelled to do this. It was very clear to us that this was an innocent person who was being deprived of his life and that we had a chance to remedy that. It was a blast, and it made me a little star in my school when it happened, ... It`s kind of funny and embarrassing now. I certainly don`t go around telling people because it`s silly, but someone who knew from before will tell a new group of friends, and I`ll have to find the tape and play it again. We weren`t exactly a legal dream team. He knows it`s going to be a whirlwind. He`s pretty overwhelmed right now. I think it will be some time before he can get his mental arms around it. There was no trace of bitterness in his voice. With that information, each of the victims became very confident witnesses at the trial. | ||
