After retiring from pictures, she became an avid painter; she had many showings of her works of art. Retired shortly after marriage, the couple eventually left their Beverly Hills digs and moved to the Spanish Island of Majorca. Long wed to Hollywood director Jean Negulesco. Two adopted daughters, Gaby and Tina. Dazzling, decorative, dark-haired model-turned-starlet of the 40s who signed with Columbia for a few pictures, beginning as one of the cover girls in Rita Hayworth`s film Cover Girl (1944). A popular WWII pin-up, she appeared in the October 27, 1944 issue of the United States Military`s Yank magazine. Her first husband, Charles Mathieu, was a U. S.
