I REMEMBER Robert Helpmann in the film the Red shoes which I saw on TV, BUT PRIOR TO THAT I knew about him as a friend of the Olivier`s Laurence and Vivien Leigh. He also danced with Margot Fontyn and they had a famous partnership during the 30`s and 40`s. He was also a film actor and stage performer and did many classical roles during his career. He also ran his own ballet company in Australia. He always seemed a very nice person when I SAW HIM IN INTERVIEWS ON TV. hE WAS AN ALL ROUNDER REGARDING THE ARTS.
