 More like, I walked off a dock into some very deep water, `Dumas Walker` was a big hit. It was about a guy who actually sold firecrackers and beer on the Tennessee line. We lived in Kentucky, and you couldn`t buy either. Twenty years later we wrote this silly ditty in 20 minutes, but we weren`t aware that everyone had a Dumas Walker. We`re still trying to get people out from under buildings. I don`t know how many we have. I`m just happy they gave me that shot. I`ve played so little this season (17 minutes before Saturday) that I`m like a fresh guy. I know they (the coaches) are worried about my knee (after surgery two months ago), but I told them earlier this week that it`s fine. This port has real possibilities, if we redevelop it and market it the right way, ... Many cars go by on that highway. We need to give them a reason to stop and spend time with us. We need to keep fishing here as much as possible. But we must diversify, look at other activities. Like welcoming recreation and the tourist industry into this harbor. Where all that stuff`s piled now, we were all in amongst that. It`s hard to believe. This was obviously some kind of miscommunication in these few cases - it was certainly not intentional. We will do everything necessary to correct what happened. But the fact remains that people in New Jersey overwhelmingly want change at the grass roots. Things are just such a mess right now that I don`t know. I think it`s human nature that we all tend to do much better in groups than we do alone. | ||
