 These were very aggressive birds. It is something I definitely wanted to do and to be honest with you I think I`d sort of given up on it a little bit last year. I kind of had thoughts `this isn`t going to happen. They want a 6-8 and jump-out-of-the-gym forward. It would take an astute scout to look at the intangibles and his uniqueness as an athlete. It`s just a neat thing for the entire school and entire community. It has people walking around, talking about it and sharing in the pride factor. It`s a big thrill. He denied fighting birds here or being involved in fighting birds, ... but he basically stopped talking about it once we showed him what we had found. We are shooting for resuming the production in mid-September. I`m not really a traditional Brier rookie. | ||
