 You would think he`s a fifth-year senior. He always wants the ball and wants to make plays, and that`s what`s been missing around here. He always talks about `I`m not going to put the team in somebody else`s hands while we`re at a low point. He definitely doesn`t want to turn the team over and us not be good. I definitely feel he has an obligation to all the fans and the players who came before us. We feel the same way. I`m anxious to see what our young receivers can do, man-on-man coverage, because I know teams aren`t going to respect us at first. Don`t let him fool you. He loves the attention. At times he`s the fastest guy on the field and one of the best tacklers. AZ is a real cornerback. He can run with anybody they put against him. They`re in my ear, `Tell `em to throw it deep, Mike, throw it deep. They want the ball, and they`re going to make some plays. Oh my God. I have a lot of respect for him. Even a little bit more than I already had. That`s what I used to see Penn State do, back when they were winning. They never let up. If we made a big play, we`d throw another big play. I tell them all the time, you have to make plays first before we`ll get any respect from a secondary. People picked us to go sixth in the Big Ten, ... People said we should be happy with six or seven wins. Now we`re on top of the Big Ten right now. | ||
