MK totally carries the FOYLE series....do you REALIZE just how little action there is in that show....yet, MK MONK like brain pulls u in and rivets u to the screen....imagine...a tv series that DOES NOT depend on bi bs and bullets....well done, mr. Kitchens

Is Michael Kitchen related to the actor Lawrence Kitchen?

Just finished watching GUILTY and M.C. was wonderful iN this role.

I have seen every possible movie etc with KItchen. In my view he is THEE best ever. I love his prtrayal of Foyle!! coulddn't be better. GOOD!

I think this is the best series to come on tv. All the characters are superb and the WWII period is fabulous. Michael has a way of not answering questions and gives a great sidewards glance, the crims havent got a chance. Had to buy it. \\]

What about a follow-up series just called "Foyle" where Michael Kitchen plays the Foyle character solving crimes, working with police, approached by people needing help (kind of like Poirot but so much better ). Horowitz would need to produce it to ensure the quality. "Foyle" could be based in south of England but travel for different cases (he already has contacts in the USA). I think it would be worth considering. What do others think?

I think Micahel Kitchen is a suberb actor, especially in his role of Foyle. I think many a female fan is secretly in love with Michael as he gives the image of such a courtly gentleman. Wonder what he`s like in real life

I do so appreciate the empathy Michael Kitchen portrays in Foyle`s War.I was an evacuee in those years and can relate to so many social aspects of WW2 that are rarely mentioned yet had permanent effects. Keep on trucking.Keep on shedding light and understanding on the dark side of the homefront during war. Winnipeg Canada.

Michael Kitchen, what can one say, except the best thing since sliced bread. Superb actor, underated, exceptional repertoire and an absolute stunner. This Gentleman has the qualities of a by-gone era, seldom encounted on the silver screen today. Finally Foyles War, ah, sheer delight, sensitive and true to form.
