Mia Tyler (birth name Mia Abagale Tallarico) was born on December 22, 1978 in Hanover, New Hampshire, USA. Besides being the daughter of Steven Tyler she is an actress and a plus size model.

Biography and Career :

She was raised in New Hampshire by her mother who divorced in 1987. The relationship between daughter and father was a good one and at the age of 8 she realized she had a half sister, Liv. The girls became friends and they support each other very much.

1990 was the year when she decided to move with her mother to New York and there she attended the Manhattan`s Professional Children`s School. By the age of 16 she had already offered her help to direct an indie movieand afterwards she was seen in MTV`s House of Style and Michael Hayes.

She appeared in magazines like Seventeen, Teen, Mode, Flare, Vogue and USA Today Weekend and her career was getting promising. She did advertisements and campaigns for Lane Bryant, H&M and Pennington`s. Wilhelmina modeling agency was the one who represented her as a plus size model.

Her acting career includes appearances in movies like "Odyssey", "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "A Little Bit of Lipstick".

In 2002 her mother passed away because of a brain tumor and on October 26, 2003 she married Dave Buckner, who is the Papa Roach drummer.

In 2007 Mia announced her engagement to Brian Harrah.

Mia is currently writting a book entitled Creating Myself: How I Learned That Beauty Comes in All Shapes, Sizes, and Packages, Including Me.

Mia also devotes alot of time answering mail from her fans via her myspace
