Marta Toren Biography

Märta Torén (May 21, 1926 – February 19, 1957) was a Swedish film actress of the 1940s and 1950s. Torén began appearing in films in 1947 after being discovered as a stage actress. She is probably best remembered for appearing with Humphrey Bogart in Sirocco in 1951. The stunning-looking actress known for her almond-shaped brown eyes appeared on the cover of Life Magazine in 1949. The actress died at the age of 31 from a brain hemorrhage.
