Maite Perroni Beorlegui (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈmaite peˈroni])is a Mexican singer and actress. Perroni gained international popularity as a member of the group RBD.

Maite Perroni was born in Mexico City, and raised in the city of Guadalajara from the age of eleven months. Her father, Javier Perroni, was job transferred to that Jaliscan capital, where the Perroni family lived for over twelve years. She has two siblings: Adolfo and Francisco (Paco), who are three and nine years younger, respectively, than she is. Her best closest friends, Lisette Figueroa, Lisbette Figueroa and Yanai Gonzalez. Perroni studied acting in Televisa`s Centro de Educación Artistica (CEA) in the year 2000, completing two years of a three year course.

Perroni stands 5` 3" (1.60 m) tall. Her favotite color is lilac. Her favorite perfume is Midnight Poison by Dior and Very Sexy by Victoria`s Secret

She made her debut as an actress in Rebelde, where she portrayed Guadalupe "Lupita" Fernández, who comes from a very humble family and gets the opportunity to study at the fictitious Elite Way School, one of the most prestigious schools in Mexico City, thanks supposedly to her excellent grades.

Perroni is a member of the popular band, RBD, which was formed during the recording of the series and became a phenomenon around Latin America, United States, and parts of Europe. The other members of RBD are also cast in Rebelde.

Recently, Maite composed the lyrics of a new song for RBD and its called "Tal Vez Mańana".

Today, Maite is recording a telenovela called "Cuidado Con El Angel", which is a history about a girl who is full of life although she is often tormented by something that happened to her in the past. She co-stars with William Levy, Laura Zapata, among others. In this new year of 2009 it`s set that she will start on 2 more telenovelas and rumored to beging her first movie in hollywood. She is the Spokesmodel for NYX Cosmetics.

In 2007,Mattel made up a Barbie Doll version of Maite Perroni, Anahí and Dulce Maria. Today the doll is a success around at Latin America, United States and Europe.

In 2008 Maite Perroni and fiance Guido Laris broke up a 3 year old relationship. Rumors says that Maite is having a romance with her co-star in Cuidado Con El Angel William Levy.

Maite Perroni recently recorded songs for her soap opera "Cuidado Con El Angel" (Careful with the Angel), one is called "Esta Soledad",other is called "Separada de ti", and the other one is called "Contigo". Maite also has many solos with RBD and her own songs. Some of them are: "Cuando el Amor se Acaba" (When Love Ends), "Tal Vez Mańana" (Could Be Tomorrow) and "Empezar desde Cero" (Starting From Scratch).

Perroni was engaged to RBD band director Güido Laris, but their 3-year romance ended in August 2008.
