Maiara Walsh (born February 18, 1988) in Simi Valley, California is an American actress of Brazilian and American descent. She is best known for her role in Cory in the House as Meena Paroom, the daughter of the Ambassador of Bahavia and Cory`s best friend. She also appeared on the 2007 Disney Channel Games on the blue team. Walsh has appeared in Unfabulous as an extra. She also stars in a film called Lullabye Before I Wake, playing the role of Megan, which was filmed in Thailand in late 2005.

Maiara was born in the United States and has lived in Seattle and Brazil. She has an older sister. When she is not working, her favorite things to do are to go hiking and spend time with family and friends. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Her role models include her father, and she considers Natalie Portman to be a role model of hers. Maiara would love to continue working in film, and one day would like the chance to work with charities for women and children`s rights. She lived in Seattle, Washington until she was 11, when her family moved to Los Angeles, California so she could pursue acting.
