Lotta was the first known girlfriend of former English footballer Stan Collymore. She first met Collymore when he was on the reserves for Crystal Palace. During this time, Lotta lived with her Finnish mother in Croydon. Lotta eventually moved in with Collymore until their break up in 1995. In 1998, in the wake of the Ulrika Jonsson scandal, Farley spoke out against Collymore and his abusive ways.
