Lauren Gold is an English model born in 1980. Gold is most recognized as the girl in Robbie Williams` "Rock DJ" music video.

Career

Modelling


Gold started her career with Take 2 Model Management.[2] By 2006, Gold switched to NEXT London before changing her agency to Models1. She is is currnetly signed to Models 1 in London, MC2 in New York, Shine Group in South Africa, Image Models Athens, Unity Models, and Central Models in Portugal. Gold is predominantly a fashion model who can be seen in editorials in high fashion magazines, however, she has dabbled in some commercial modeling as well.

Gold largest and most popular endorsement of her career thus far has been for La Senza lingerie. She has also done a campaign for Pantene shampoo. Despite being a high fashion model, Gold has appeared in men`s magazine Maxim as well as commercials for Coca Cola and Vodafone. She has also appeared in Robbie William`s Rock DJ video.


Acting

Gold like many models before her, has ventured into acting. Her first role is playing footballer`s girlfriend named Scarlett on the show Dream Team. She was regular during the 2005-2006 season. Gold was quoted as saying, "Well, initially I auditioned for the part of Chloe and they DT called me back a week later to read Scarlett, so I guess it was meant to be. I did an episode a couple of years ago when I was modeling , I`ve watched it on and off since then. In that same interview Gold was asked if she would like to be a footballers wife, she responded with "I would hate to be a kept woman, all that lunching and shopping seems like such hard work."

In 2008, Gold starred in the horror movie Beyond the Rave as Lucretia.Also in 2008, she appeared in an arts film made by Angelo Valentino sponsored by Brockmans Gin which was shown in Cannes.

Relationships

In Gold`s early career, she dated Westlife singer Mark Feehily from 1999-2002. The pair kept a low profile due to his boy band status with the exception of taking her to the Coyote Ugly premiere. Several years after the break up, Feehily came out of the closet.

In April 2004, she was pictured out to lunch with footballer Fredrik Ljungberg. The Sun reported that the two were seen having romantic dinners and walks on the beach.[9] In the summer of 2004, the pair were also spotted in Ljungberg`s hometown of Halmstad, Sweden as well as Bastad, Sweden, where Ljungberg and his family would spend their summers.Neither Gold or Ljungberg ever confirmed their relationship.

Gold has admit that the person she`s most want to be under the mistle toe with Paul Walker.

There was also some speculation that she and Ziggy of Big Brother fame were once an item. Ziggy`s friends claim that the two enjoyed a two year romance.

Although there was much speculation of a romance with Robbie Williams, she has never admitted to a fling with Robbie, but said at the time she loved his body. She gushed: "Perhaps I had a little look. I couldn`t help it. I mean, he had a bl**** thong on!
