 We had our chance. We were up by two games with three to play ? that`s all you can ask for. We love this field. Things seem to go well here for us and I wonder if there is a chance that we could play our home games here. everyone out there stay there, everyone in the locker room, go to the ring, we`re having a team meeting! You might point out to Howard Davies that he could get no better grounding in the game of hurling than to check out the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship Q/F featuring Birr against Lusmagh next Saturday evening, with the `throw-in` at 4:30pm in Banagher. No prizes for guessing who you`ll be shouting for. Quite honestly, I haven`t had time to think about it. I`ve been too busy preparing for a football game. I`ve got enough to do. Brittany is our best closer. We`re glad she`s back. I thought tonight we came out in the first half afraid to make mistakes and sat back and watched things happen. This is an important event because it`s part of the ongoing initiative to clean up Marshalltown and present a better image and appearance. Our community betterment task force has done a great job over the last eight months of starting these initiatives and really making a difference. I always wish them well, ... except this week. We played 13 tonight and they all rose to the occasion. We kept working and fighting to make this happen. I`m proud of these girls. We see it every day in our economy. These folks are customers in our stores and employees in our workplace. We hope immigration law gets it figured out. | ||
