Around 1968, a convent-girl-turned-rock-climber named Jenny Fabian moved into Family`s Chelsea pad, which served as a focus of hipster activities. As Syd Barrett`s former girlfriend, Fabian was accustomed to the underground scene and how cool it could be to "pull" with the big stars and their big guitars.

At times she was the girlfriend of Ric Grech and/or their manager (John Gilbert?). She penned Groupie in 1969, a paperback with more or less accurate tales of the the UFO/Middle Earth club scene in London. Co-authored by writer Johnny Byrne, it was an "autobiography" of a teenager living the life of sex, drugs and more sex and drugs. And rock and roll.

Worked Reynolds News / Sunday Citizen, working class Sunday rag. Married Italian croupier, had two daughters. Separated. Met Hawkins, Keyes, Byrne. Worked Daily Telegraph Magazine. Dropped out. Worked Middle Earth and Roundhouse.

Wrote articles for Harpers and Queen, Tatler, Time Out, Event, Forum, Friendz. Wrote solo novel ‘A Chemical Romance’. Dropped out again. Worked for Sir Mark Palmer as stable lad. Went to Ireland to work on Curragh. Married Maldwyn Thomas. Through him got involved with coursing greyhounds. Trained two Waterloo Cup winners. Wrote for Field and Sporting Life on coursing. Two kids, Emma and Francis. Writing third book with Johnny Byrne.
