 I`ve brought the machine, Oh yes, we`ve had some lovely gigs in the Liverpool area. They`ve been great. I`m way down the scale in terms of technical ability, ... But my emotional connection is very apparent. A lot of jazz is very internalized, and sometimes it`s more about the passion you put into it. It`s a really subjective thing. I get into plenty of trouble. It just doesn`t seem to get picked up by the papers. I`m going for sound really, and my fingers just go places. It`s very, very strange, especially when something really good is happening, and you look down and think, `Where is this coming from?` It`s a magical feeling. I`d like to make music for a long time, and all different types of music. Maybe I`ll start my own label to get other artists off the ground. See, in the rock bands and stuff I was in, I`d always been a fairly animated performer, but when I played jazz, I wasn`t sure whether I was allowed to do that, you know? | ||
