 Our seniors really want to win district, four years ago we tied for it, but I think they want to win it outright. And while we`ve made the playoffs the last five years, we want to get that first win. We`re just going to try to keep building toward that. Every coach is going to tell you that they spend time working on free throws at practice, but we really do. Tonight we were able to make the most of our opportunities and then get the people that we want at the line to the line down the stretch. That speaks to his versatility. We`ll have our work cut out for us trying to stop him. Assignment-wise, these two guys don`t make mistakes, I`m tired of watching him on tape, I don`t get up and think today is going to be `the` day they find something. I get up every day and think that `someday` they will find something. I thought our transition game was really good tonight especially in the fourth quarter. Our guards did a really nice job of pushing the basketball up the floor and we are lucky enough to have big guys who run the floor as well as ours do. We can do science at every step of the way (during the project`s expansion). At first when Barnesville set up in a 2-3 zone we attacked in the high post and had success, I give them a lot of credit though, they battled hard and we had to be sharp. I just hope we can continue clicking right now. The night we played Rockwall, everything was clicking and we just need to try to match that every time we take the field. | ||
