I went to The School of Visual arts with Gina, She was so full of life, always very funny, very talented and extremely beautiful inside and out. After years of wondering if I would ever speak to her again, I wanted so much to tell her that I was very happy for her to see her in so many great roles, I`m so sorry to learn that she is not with us anymore. My heart is with you Gina, and your family as well.

I took a film acting class with gina at the school of visual arts it was 1984,we did sene study work togeather.she was a natural,we met again at H.B.studio she was well on her way. God bless her and her family

I went to school with Gina at School of visual arts. She was a great artist ,she studied advertising and design there.We were great friends and hung out all the time. She was hilarious and the life of any party.We hung out through the 8o`s she went to my parties in the city. I hung out with her at the beach at oceanside LI.There was three of us carrie,gina and my self,we had so much fun.I bumped into a mutual friend of hers tonight found out that she died. I am heartbroken.I will never forget her.

She originally appeared in The Color of Money (1986) playing pool hustler Tom Cruise`s girlfriend but her lack of acting experience caused her to be replaced by Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio after three weeks of shooting. Later played a noticeable role in Spike Lee`s Jungle Fever (1991).
