David was best known for being a part of Triple 8, aka 888, were a British five-piece hip-hop style boy band signed to Polydor Records. Triple 8 were promoted as the British `N Sync and a rival to manufactured boy bands of the time, such as Westlife and A1.
The band had two hit singles: "Knockout" and "Give Me A Reason", which charted at numbers eight and nine respectively. Their album, Heavy W8 was cancelled and the band subsequently parted company with their record label. The album has since leaked on the internet.
In 2004, band members David and Sparx left the band. David joined the rock group 10 Reasons To Live, now signed to Easy Money Records, who released a single; "Pretty Girls Rule The World".
