 They were just welcoming us into the community like brothers. It was just really great. YTI is showing the way for all of the Port of Los Angeles` terminal operators. We applaud YTI`s leadership and expect that this is but the first of a wave of cleaner air conversion projects that will sweep the port. The `no growth` crowd needs to just get over it, ... I understand their concern, but this is going to be clean growth. The growth that has occurred in the last four years has been unclean growth. We are a separate control area, the city of Los Angeles has its own power system ... we have plenty of electricity, We would like to advance this. They have had to carry the burden of the port`s success. It`s pretty clear the future demands of the port will require expansion, It`s the rest of the state that has all these power watches and stages and all these alerts. We are actually selling them our surplus power as we speak to help them keep their lights on. We have to be able to move the ball, basically in the red zone. We were able to move it from the 20 to the 20. We`ve got to make plays in the red zone. Those containers are not going to be coming to that intermodal facility on dirty diesel trucks, ... That just isn`t going to happen. | ||
