Darren Brass (born January 22, 1972) is an American tattoo artist. He currently stars on reality television show Miami Ink. He has a background in graffiti style design work. He received his first professional tattoo at the age of 18 on his birthday. He is from Waterbury, Connecticut. He is half Irish, half Polish. Despite being Half Polish, people often mistakenly think Brass is of Latin origin.
Darren is 5`1" tall, and has Type I diabetes. He had his first child, a little boy, with partner Talea, in February 2008. Talea is currently expecting their second child.
