Rumored to be deceased Dana Barron born Stacey Dana Barron on April 22, 1966 is very much alive. Dana is best known for her role as Audrey in the original Vacation.
Dana or Stace as friends and family call her is also well know as a costume maker for film and television. An expert with a sewing machine Dana (Stace) cranks out character costumes at an alarming rate.
Barron is also featured in a weekly fiction based blog series by famed blogger Samantha Anders which features some of Dana`s work with children`s fire safety. Dana, along side McGruff the crime dog, ex husband Tom Schmeck, and well known internet guitar guru Jeff Fiorentino has produced more than 200 fire safety film strips for public schools according to various websites. The 4 have won 3 award for their work to date.
It`s worth noting that Barron takes fire safety very seriously and has even reportedly dressed up as Fire for a recent Halloween costume. According to the Celebrity blog on blogspot Dana talked ex husband Tom Schmeck into dressing up as water, and even managed to get the normally shy and quiet Jeff Fiorentino into a hose costume. The Three were quite a specticle and according to celeb reports were asked by the authorities to quote, "tone it down". But fire safety is important to these 3 crazy kids and they were praised by many for holding firm to their promotional stunt to further fire safety education. I guess that`s why awards are won.
