I play Fulvia, this girl who lives with her parents yet who doesn’t get along with them. Fulvia is someone who has a lot of problems because she can`t manage to confront the various situations that constitute her life. She has a boyfriend, Fabio, and she`s in love with him, yet she can`t manage to enjoy her life even with the man she loves. She also loves her parents deeply, yet she`s incapable of showing them how she feels. All that she does manage to do is to externalise what she has inside by vomiting; she`s always vomiting, continually. She vomits whenever she has a problem, whenever she`s in pain, whenever something doesn`t go right. Then something happens in her life - on her wedding day - something that will completely change things for her, mostly how she lives her life, the way she confronts it. I developed this character in part by exploring within myself: I think that all of us have things that we haven`t said and have suffered because of what has been left unsaid. Working with this role mainly consisted of looking inside myself, going back, searching for ideas and situations that I could use. Luckily I don`t express my emotions by vomiting, and this was perhaps the only thing for which I had to think about what it was like because it`s somewhat alien to who I am, although I do have many things within me that have gone unsaid.
