Barbara Marx was the "Best Thing" that ever happened to Frank Sinatra. They were married for over 20 years. I think that she kept him grounded, and he loved her very much.

She was born Barbara Joanna Blakely in MO, 16 Oct 1927(1930?) and grew up in K.C., KS. She became a Las Vegas showgirl as a teen and eventually a model and actress. Her first marriage ca.1949 was to Robert Harrison Oliver, with whom she had a son, Robert (adopted by Zeppo). Her affairs included RFK in the 60s.
