Mini Biography

Born in Toronto, Anne Helm`s entire Canadian "show biz" career consisted of playing Alice in Wonderland at camp and acting in a Christmas pantomime at Montreal`s Her Majesty`s Theatre. When she was 14, she and her mother relocated to New York, where Helm studied ballet and began modeling for John Robert Powers. The title role in a "Shirley Temple Storybook" TV production of "The Sleeping Beauty" lured her to the West Coast, where she landed roles in a succession of subsequent feature films and TV series (and was briefly Elvis Presley`s main squeeze--on-screen and off). More recently billing herself as "Annie Helm," she is also a writer and illustrator of children`s books.
