Anita Briem (born 29 May 1982) is an Icelandic actress.
She has appeared in Icelandic films, and in international productions such as The Tudors in which she portrayed King Henry VIII`s third queen Jane Seymour (However she appeared only in Season Two, and was replaced by English actress Annabelle Wallis in Season Three). She has also appeared in Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008).
Briem is the daughter of drummer Gunnlaugur Briem of Mezzoforte and vocalist Erna Þórarinsdóttir. She started acting when she was nine at the National Theatre of Iceland. In 2004, she graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London
