Adrienne Dore Biography |
||
|
Very visible in the early days of talking pictures, blonde Adrienne Dore (sometimes given as Doré) usually played scheming women, floozies, or chorus girls. An entertainer from childhood, Dore was elected Miss America in 1925 and began her screen career in comedy shorts. Under contract to Warner Bros., she offered leading ladies a bit of rivalry in such films as The Rich Are Always With Us (1932) and Play Girl (1932).
