Couple Profile

Were good friends till Holden`s premature death. Met on the set of Golden Boy (1939) where Stanwyck coached the young Holden and helped him keep the part. He achieved stardom in the picture and sent her a bouquet of red roses every year on the anniversary of first day of shooting. Starred together once again in the all star movie Executive Suite (1954). They were rumored to be having an affair during the filming of Golden Boy shortly before Stanwyck married Robert Taylor.
