Sylvia York built the biggest, largest and most computer friendly web site for Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter, even today eight years later, no site compares. The site opened in May, 2001 and closed shortly thereafter. Sylvia York closed Nick Carter`s web site because of his obsessive behavior when the Backstreet Boys lost the Grammy to U2. She thinks he despises her because she closed his site, which was the best Nick Carter site on the Internet. `Nick hates me for that` she wrote via email years ago. Now, I don`t know if he hates her or she hates him and that`s why she closed the site and I cannot confirm as Sylvia York refuses to speak about owning nickolascarter.com other than to state `It was the best of Nick Carter because we had the money to make it that way and anyone who knows me, knows I don`t settle for second best, I gave him my all. I pushed him in every direction possible from BSB to a solo career with `Now or Never`, but I think he hates me; in fact I`m sure of this. My God, he`s so paranoid he used to think I was spending more time on N SYNC than his site, and you know what? I told him to forget Lance because Jimmy and I are just friends, I mean it was not my place to tell Nick that Jimmy (Lance Bass) was gay, and if Nick knew, it was not my place to spread gossip and he should have known better. I told Nick I would push the envelope out there and I could and would put Nick Carter on the cover of Cosmo Girl and I did. Worst, he knew it took hours of making up screen names, voting, refreshing my computer and that my left hand was on fire from pain. When he landed on the cover, did he thank me? Hell NO! He was still bitching about U2, so I closed the site. A webmaster can offer so much because the subject content has to appreciate all efforts. Not that I cared, well okay I did, but he could have and should have shown support or respect since we we`re in constant contact and he should have helped other than to spread gossip as to what other members of BSB were up to. I didn`t give a darn that Brian and his wife were expecting a baby boy this was a Nick Carter site. He never wanted to share his stuff, but he was so ready to gossip about everyone else. I don`t know about him, he`s so fickle, which is fine, but don`t ask me to make a site, push you to the top and then accuse me of being a piece of dog poop, for I was not. I plugged him, fiddled quizzes, you name it, I did it.` sighs. `And, I might add I don`t hate Nick Carter, he thinks I do, but I don`t, honest! The only thing I will add is Nick’s management forgot or refused to accept my brother died, and to make matters worse Nick threatened to call the police on me for breech of contract, knowing full well my brother helped me a lot before his crossing in 2002, and to be honest I could have called the police on him many times as he showed up at my mail box hundreds of times in his stupid black Plymouth Prowler, I couldn`t even get my mail. I think Nick Carter was and will always be jealous that my brother loved James from N SYNC and perhaps, Nick got peeved at Lance because Nick came across so arrogant? I don`t know. I merely did the research, but Jimmy (Lance Bass) was kind and my brother was an IT specialist, he did not care who was who and what was going on, he worked on sites for people I asked him for help and I guess that put Nick Carter in the hole, for he was never nice to me nor my brother, not even when my brother died, I mean even then he doubted his death, we are talking about my brother here and some Pratt doubts I lost the most beautiful person in the world? I mean come on; would you want to keep their site open? No way, I mean you`d want to rip the site to bits, and I did, but not from malice, merely respect. You don`t f--k with family, I like Nick, but I know one thing, since my brother died, Nick Carter will never own his own name and that may be stubbornness on my side, but I think I have earned it, nickolascarter.com will never be for sale. Ever! Let the Pratt have nickcarter.net - He was a fool to let his record label buy nickcarter.com, but then again it shows what an ignorant idiot he his. I sound spiteful don`t I? I`m sorry, I don`t mean to, but you just don`t mess with blood, and I miss my brother so much it hurts, and Nick... Whatever, I`m not saying anymore, other than Nick was furious that I used the name `NControlFl` because he said it was the name of his record label or management company. I was like `is it trademarked?` It wasn`t thus I went ahead and bought the domain and I think that irked him more, but he had his choice. I like to think opportunities come around and one should grab them, if he`s too stupid to do that, that`s not my problem. He needs to realize one has to move fast to keep up with me. In a way I agree with Mandy (WillaFord) when she said `Nick doesn`t have a f--ing clue what he wants` because it`s true. I’ve probably exposed more than I should, however, I wish him the best.
