The Presleys began dating in 1959 when Priscilla was 14 and Elvis was 24. They had first met in Germany where Elvis was serving in the army. They moved in together after Priscilla graduated high school in 1963. Right before Christmas in 1966, Elvis proposed. They were married in 1967 and had their only child, Lisa Marie, a year later. For the first few years they were very happy, but when Elvis` career took off again, he and Priscilla were often apart and cheated on each other, Priscilla with her karate instructor, Mike Stone; Elvis with many lovers. These infidelities caused them to divorce in 1973, but they remained friends until Elvis` death. It was his longest relationship.
