Liv Tyler and Dax Shepard star in the movie "Smother" as a married couple. Claire (Tyler) and Noah (Shepard) are living happily until they day Noah got fired. He returns home and to his surprise he finds Claire`s strange cousin there who is a writer and asked to spend a couple of weeks with them. As soon as Noah agrees, the door bell rings abnd to everybody`s surpise Noah`s mother Marilyn (Diane Keaton) left her husband and moves in with her son. Claire wants to get pregnant but infortunately Noah doesn`t share the same idea because at the moment he`s not working. Finally he finds a job in a carpet bazar but to his astonishment his crazy mother stars to work there as well. Noah is under a lot of pressure, looking after Marilyn all of the time, in the evenings trying to avoid his beautiful wife because she wants to have a baby and above all that his father refuses to give him a loan to start a business...
Liv and Dax made a very cute couple in this funny, exsentric comedy of love, family and the choices we make in life. In a lot of interviews Tyler and Shepard said that they had a great time while filming and hopefully they`ll like to work together again.
